- A couple of months before my 16th birthday, I will study every week to prepare myself for my knowledge test which I will take after I turn 16. I can take practice tests online or ask my sister for help to help prepare me for my test.

- no driving between midnight to 5 am. Any other time is fine
- I will go to ICBC to take my knowledge test when I am ready and hopefully pass by getting 40 questions or more right.

- After I pass my knowledge test and have my L, I will practice driving with a qualified supervisor that is 25 years or older. I will be required to always put my red L sign on my car and only allowed to drive one other person besides my supervisor.
- When I am ready to advance my drivers license I will take a Class 7 test with an instructor where I can earn my N. I have to be cautious when driving and remember to keep both hands on the steering wheel.

- When I have my N, I am required to always have my N sign on my car but now allowed to drive as many immediate family members as well as drive on my own. I will now start preparing for my Class 5 test by practicing more.

- After 2 years of waiting and safe driving, I can take my Class 5 test. I will be tested on everything I learned and will be tested on the highwaysIf I pass, I can drive whoever I want with no limit. If I don't pass I will have to wait 2 weeks for a retake.
