- In the Battle of Germantown, the battle played a huge role in the ending of the American Revolution. The Patriots planned to surprise the British before sunrise. They all attacked at 5 am, and lost. Washington's plan was believed to be to complex for the inexperienced army. In spite of the fact that the British won the fight, the Patriots had at last gone on the hostile and attacked the British.
- In The Battle of Long Island, the British initiated the fight. The British general wanted to control what is now New York. The Patriots had 2050 casualties. With the British having 377 casualties. The end goal was to gain control and isolate New England from the rest of the colonies. By mid-April, Washington had walked his 19,000 troopers to Lower Manhattan.
- In the Battle of Trenton, the Patriots attempt to cross the Delaware River to stun the British, boost their morale, and capture supplies. The Patriots win with a total of 5 casualties. The British having 905 casualties.The Patriots managed to gain basic supplies, food and clothing.Washington crushed a imposing army of Hessian soldiers of fortune some time before pulling back.
