- I'm so excited to explore the northern region!
- AH! Where are we?
- You know, I know lots about this region. Like, there is a lot of islands to the north. We also have the arctic ocean by us. Oh, and we have high elevation in the west.
- Halu! (Hello!) This is the largest region, but the least populated. Its because its costly to live here. And to answer your question, yes I speak english and very little Intitut.
- Hi, I'm new. I know most people here speak english, but you arent really talking. Do you speak Inktitut?
- Whats going on? I'm really cold compared to where I used to live. My mom says its 8 degrees right now.
- Oh, hi! This is our annual dog sled race. A long distance can cover up to 1,00 miles. And yes, the average temperature here is about 7 degrees with treeless tundra
- Dad, I hope you get the job.
- Thanks swets, people often come here to find jobs with the government, churches, or even mining companies. Some natives still follow the nomadic or wandering life of hunters.
- You know, life here in Canada is really different from my life in Michigan. We have different activities and mostly everyone speaks english. This is a great way to explore. And you know what,I like Canada better than Michigan!
