- Mom, where's Dad taking Roisin
- Just to get a check up at the hospital nothing serious
- This is the O'Sullivan family. The little boy in the back is Bronagh the second youngest, at his back are his older sisters the twins Ciara and Saoirse. His mother Amelia is holding his 3 month old sister Cara. His dad, Clodagh and Eldest sibling Roisin are guiding the cart. They are leaving the home thats been in their family for generations to seek a better life else where
- On the way to a small town Roisin catches a unknown disease. The twins were horrified by what they saw still not fully understanding the famine their country was going through
- Sure Son
- Dad can I keep Roisin's bracelet? Please!
- Two weeks after they set off and Roisin was still sick. They decided that Amelia would take the children to the hotel in the town while Clodagh got the food and supplies, as well as find the hospital
- We'll come back for you, I promise
- Dad, Mom please don't leave me
- They stayed in the little town for 2 day while they gathered supplies. They had taken Roisin to the hospital straight away, the doctor started treating his symptoms but nothing worked and soon after he died.
- Not knowing the bracelet carried typhus ridden louseClodagh let is now only son carry the bracelet with him. Soon after the burial they continued their journey to the harbours suffering 1 of the many trials they must endure.
- After two more weeks on the road they had finally reached the harbour. Bronagh had started to look sickly, but he still refused to let go off his brothers necklace. A doctor started coming around because the strange disease was spreading through the harbour. When he finally arrived at where the O'Sullivan family, he let the girl and their parents through but wouldn't let Bronagh through. He was ushered to the side, his father promising to come get him later, not knowing he would die days later. This last the family ever saw of him, still clutching the bracelet.
