- Pete And Kete By Savannah Skinner
- A big wave separated me and my brother from are family so we stay in the water and look for them.
- What remains in the ocean stays in the ocean.
- What Pete is experiencing is evaporation which is when the sun's heat and energy causes evaporation or liquid turning into a gas the water vapor floats in the atmosphere because it is less dense.
- We are having no luck finding our family in the water. All the sudden I start to heat up.
- The reason Kete is saying he is cold is because the cold temperature higher in the atmosphere causes water vapor to turn back into tiny droplets. The density of the droplets become greater than the air they precipitate.
- Wow it's so cool up here but I don't see mom and dad.
- I'm cold.
- When too much water has condensed the water droplets become heavy and precipitate back to earth this is called precipitation.
- Lets stay and look I have a feeling mom and dad might be here.
- Stay water remains in the lake.
- I don't think they're here let's look somewhere else.
- Water flows into a river.
