- Can you help me find the area of the basketball court?
- Of course! we just learned how to do that in math!
- In order to find the area of the basketball court we need to find the length and the width.

- As you can see on the whiteboard the length is 94 ft and the width is 50 ft. Now with those measurements we can find the area
- 94 ft
- 50 ft
- With all of our measurements and information we can finally figure out what the area( inside space) of the basketball court is.
- FInding the area is simple all you have to do is multiply your length by your width. So we multiply 94x50.
- 94 x 50=
- Multiplication
- 4700
- Now we have our number which is 4700 but we need to put our units. We multiplied feet by feet so our answer will be in square feet

- Hey! Thanks again for helping me find the area of the basketball court. Now we know how much flooring we need to get to replace the whole court.
