An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge
Storyboard Text
- Farquhar, a farmer who is a supporter of the South, is sentenced to hand at Owl Creek.
- Two armed soldiers stand at the ready for his sentencing. Both soldiers are armed with weapons.
- In what he believes is his final moment, Peyton Farquhar reminisces about his family. The metallic sound of his watch can be heard as he soon loses consciousness.
- When Farquhar comes back to consciousness, his rope has snapped and he is in the water. He quickly flees the scene and makes a run back to his family.
- After skillfully fleeing from the Union soldiers, he makes his way back home to his family. When he arrives there, he is shocked to suddenly have a sharp pain erupt from his neck.
- Peyton Farquhar is shown to be dead on the Owl Creek Bridge.
