- Bailey and her mom arrived at her new school for the year. They recently moved to California because of her mom's job, Bailey was very unsure of this new start. Her mom loved the idea of moving somewhere new so Bailey could step out of her comfort spot.
- Rising Action
- Once Bailey stepped foot in the schools hallway she still was very unsure.She looked beside her and saw a cork board with a flyer saying “volleyball tryouts after school at 3pm in the school’s gym”. Back in Hawaii she was the star player at her old school so she decided to tryout since that would get her mind off of the sudden change in her life. Throughout her first day there it was pretty good, she found all her classes. Didn't get lost but she didn’t make any new friend’s.
- Climax
- After school she went to the school’s gym at 3 pm just like the flyer said to tryout for the volleyball team.There were a good amount of girls trying out, Bailey had to wait her turn since the tryouts were going by last name and he last name was Menor. it finally reached to the letter M but before Bailey could go up a girl named Hannah Miller went before her.After Hannah was done with her tryouts the girls there saw Bailey play so flawless and astounding.After she finished everyone complimented her while Hannah wasn’t impressed.
- Resolution
- Bailey walked home from school since her school was now down the block.She was pretty confident knowing she probably got in the team. Before she left the coach said she should receive the final answer at 6pm. It reached 6pm and she got a notification, the notification said she did not make the team. Being all shocked and confused Bailey stood up from the dinner table and ran to her room, her mom got shocked by her actions and followed her into her room.Bailey explained to her mom and said she would talk to the counselor tomorrow morning.
- Tomorrow morning came by quick and baileys mom went to talk to the counselor the counselor agreed to talk to the coach.The coach said there must have been a mistake because he put her on the team but something might’ve gone wrong.He talked to Bailey about it and she forgave him and said they had a game this coming Friday and talked about practice hours and uniforms.Once Hannah saw Bailey at practice she got so mad at lashed her out, coach heard and said that they better quit the act before the first game or else both of them get cut from the team.
- Today is Bailey’s first volleyball game at a new school she was very nervous at the fact that she had dent played over 5 months.Hannah and Bailey played the back row together it came down to the last point since Bailey’s team and the other team were tied,It was the opposite team to serve Hannah called the ball but missed so bailey helped her out then the girl in front on Bailey’s team spiked it over the opposed team missed the ball and Bailey them scored.The very end of the game Hannah apologized for her actions and admitted that both of them make a good team together.
