My Trip to Afghanistan

- Alhamdulillah we made it here.
- Wow I am excited to see my Grandma

- Me and my family made it to Kabul international airport and were going to get picked up by our cousins. We then drove to our Grandmothers house/

- Our Cousins Drive us to our Grandmas House and it took 3 hours to get there. During the drive I was very excited to see my grandma because i had not seen her in years.
- I dont feel soo good

- When we arrived at my grandma’s house, they all were very happy to see us and greeted us in. I hadn’t seen my grandma is 9 years, so I was very excited and nervous to see her.
- In Afghanistan, I witnessed the worst type of poverty, hungry children, homeless families, and worst of all neglected animals. Firsthand, I experienced the consequences of war to innocent lives.
- A week into my trip, I got sick due to mosquito bites and i stayed like that for a few days which felt like an eternity.
- Three weeks later, my uncle drove us to Kabul for our flight back and then after 3 long weeks we finally got home.
