- Guess we'll have to start selling our crops for double the previous price.
- What will we do now in order to make a sufficient amount of money?!?!

- OH MY!! The prices of wheat have increased significantly! I can NOT afford this.
- Why must we suffer debt and not even be able to pay it off because our crop prices are falling!
- RIGHT!!!
- It is about time we had a president for THE PEOPLE! Someone who will rid us of these tariffs as well!
- PAY THE WORKING CLASS BETTER AND PROVIDE US WITH BETTER WORKING CONDITIONS!
- The populist party's main goals are to help end debt by circulating more silver! We also intend to put an end to protective tariffs!
