Daedalus and icarus plot
Storyboard Text
- Daedalus, and his son Icarus, got in trouble with king Minos for giving Princess Ariadne the thread which helped Theseus out of The Labyrinth. He locked them away in the maze to be killed by it's Minotaur.
- When in The Labyrinth, Daedalus realized the only way for him and Icarus to escape was through the air. He created wings out of branches of osier and wax for them to escape with.
- Before they flew, Daedalus warned Icarus not to fly too close to the sun, or his wings would melt and be destroyed. When Icarus didn't listen, he fell to his death as his wings gave way.
