- So the first is use a reusable bottle/cup for beverages. You might already a reusable bottle right? You can put that reusable bottle to use, save money, and reduce waste. Instead of purchasing, just use the recyclable bottle.
- I will also suggest to use reusable grocery bags, and not just for groceries, just like a reusable water bottle, you may already have a reusable grocery bag, though it's often at home. try writing bags on top of your grocery list to help you remember, or keep them in the back seat where they aren't as easy to forget. Many grocery stores will provide a 5 cent per bag refund so you'll save a few cents while reducing your usage of on-time-use plastic bags.
- Purchase wisely and and recycle. You can reduce the amount of waste you produce by purchasing products that come with less packaging or come in packaging that can be recycled.
- And about the home improvement to minimize waste. Use insulation made from recycled paper, glass, and other recovered materials. And turn off or unplug lights during the day. Doing so will save energy and help your lights last longer.
- For school supplies, on before starting the new school year, look through last year's materials. Many items can be reused or recycled. Also, save packaging, colored papers, egg cartoons and other items for arts and crafts projects.
- And if on cafeteria, if you bring your lunch to school, package it in reusable containers instead of disposable ones. Carry your food in plastic or cloth bags. When buying lunch grab only what you need. Too often extra ketchup packets and napkins go to waste.
- I think it's done, 'cause I don't have any idea now. That's a lot of waste that we can still use. I hope people will gonna follow our awareness of minimizing waste.
