- WATCH OUT!
- Katie is Lynn's little sister and the narrator and main character in kira-kira. she is very kind to everybody. she is very smart when it comes to bad situations. she knew how to control herself from getting hurt.
- dad actually threw a snowball at her. i thought she would faint, but after a long pause she smiled slightly.
- Lynn is Katie's big sister. she is very loving to Katie and they act like best friends. she goes to the same school and hasn't moved out. she is super smart and she is a popular girl in school.
- they became friends and amber made Lynn have the same interests as her.
- Katie's mom is protective. way to protective. when Katie is going down a couple stairs her mom goes "WATCH OUT". Katie isn't going to hurt herself just by going down some stairs.
- their dad is a very tough but soft hearted guy. he is married to their mom. they have a good relationship most of the time. he is a hard worker who works most of the week nonstop
- Lynn meets a new friend. amber. they begin to love hanging out with each other. amber makes Lynn have more interests and makes her do only what amber wants to do.
- the uncle is named katsuhisa. he is a fun loving guy who might seen like an awkward person but he just wants to have fun. he is a very wimpy guy compared to his brother. unlike his brother all he likes to do is talk.
