- I declare as order of this British Parliament that we should make a tea tax so the colonists to pay our debt.

- So much for a cup of tea, we should do something a about it.

- The British should not act as if they are the boss.
- Yeah, because they won't even let us have a representative.
- On May 10, 1773 British made the tea tax, it taxed colonist on tea. Colonists were not happy with this tax.
- KABOOM!

- The colonist decide to do something about it, because tea is a formal drink back then. They formed a group of people called the Sons of Liberty they boycotted the tea.
- I must punish them for their cruelty.
- Huzzah!!
- The Sons of Liberty formed a plan. The plan was to dress as Mohawk Indians and board the ship and pour all the chests of tea in the ocean.
- So on December 16, 1773, they board the ship dressed as Indians and poured 342 chest of tea.
- .When word got back to England, Parliament and king became very angry and decided to punish the colony. Parliament wanted to prove that the colonies needed to obey British laws.
- The tea in the harbor cost them a lot of debt. So, the king sent British soldiers The British soldiers guarded the harbor,so the colonist were trapped inside.
