- C-Even though Mary seems to have been relieved after murdering her husband others may view her as miscreant due to her decisions and actions.
- R-While it may be true that Mary's actions were not the best, a person must consider that she was not in a happy marriage, but tried to make it work out because she tried to communicate with him when she had the chance.
- E-In fact, Mary is not only far from miscreant as she does what is best for herself, she is in fact teaching herself to not deal with people who show they do not respect what she does for them as shown when the text states,
- E-" Her eyes waited on him for an answer, a smile , a little nod, but he made no sign."
- P-Of course, she should be responsible for her actions, but since her husband never tried to communicate with her, she allows herself to step up and get rid of him from her life.Because her husband is a man, many people in the town would easily say he did nothing wrong, but Mary makes it a point to teach herself that when people do not want to stay around we should not make them and let them go.
- S-By Mary requiring herself to take notice of her husbands actions, she is far from a miscreant wife because she actually did what was right to better herself by getting rid of the negative people within her life.
