- Ok so carbohydrates give us short-term energy, store energy, and provide structure. We get carbs from bread and starchy things. It's elements are C.H.O.
- I know lipids are like fats or something. There in avocados and waxes and... oil.
- Yep exactly. They're kinda like carbs but they store long term energy. They're elements are the same as carbs. Fatty acids and glycerol and the building blocks of lipids.
- Just shut up because you need this basic stuff. Proteins do everything-unlike you- they do actions like build muscles and support the immune system. C,H,O,N is the elements and monomers are amino acid and polymers are polypeptides. We get proteins from other foods.
- I remember why I don't like paying attention this is boring.
- Nucleic Acids elements are C,H,O,N,P and it consist of DNA and RNA. The primary function is really just storing genetic material and transporting it. It's monomer is nucleotide.
- I know I still won't do well but at least I feel like I won't fail.
