Tiddalick the Frog

- One very warm morning, Tiddalick woke up with feeling very, very thirsty and started to drink the fresh water.
- He drank and he drank the water until all the fresh water in the entire billabong was gone! All the animals came to have a morning drink but saw all the water was gone.

- They worked out that if they made him laugh he would spit back out all the water.The first animal to try and make him laugh was the echidna. She rolled herself up into a tight little ball.
- The next animal to try and make Tiddalick laugh was the Kangaroo. The Kangaroo jumped really high and spun in circles, but he didn't laugh.

- Finally the snake decided to try make him laugh. She slithered around and ended up tying herself in a knot. Tiddalick started to laugh at her struggling to untie herself.

- That laugh made all of the water come gushing out of his mouth to start filling back up the billabong. The animals were so excited as they took a big drink of water to quench their thirst.
