  • Here, the doctor is explaining some of the best coping strategies to battle and deal with depression. However, not only is this happening but the patient is also accepting the fact that he needs to complete these challenges.
  • I need to make sure I get a goood night sleep.
  • The victim of depression is socializing which is one of if not the best coping strategies. This is because it takes the victim's mind off of loneliness and sharpens their social skills at the same time.

  • The main character is doing exercise which is very helpful as it allows good endorphins to be sent to the brain making you feel happier.
  • Keeping an appropriate and healthy sleep schedule is much more important than people realize. A lack of sleep can result in a negatively impacting sleep cycle that will be hard to break and also it may even provoke and worsen the mental illness.
  • Here, the main character is avoiding the use of alcohol which is quite helpful. When drinking alcohol, there are certain chemicals that can regulate mood which may lead to an even more depressed state.
