- I'm so excited to start medical school too....
- I'm so proud of you and your accomplishments. Following in 5 generations of doctors. You are continuing our family traditions.
- Sounds delicious!!
- I am going to try a new recipe for dinner. I think I'm going to make stuffed chicken with asparagus and mashed parsnips. How does that sound?
- I'm so nervous!!
- ready for the first day of school?
- Oh yeah!!
- I should try and make a soufflé tonight for dessert.
- Have a god day! See you on day 2 of class.
- I wonder if I could be a chef? That class was interesting but boring.
- Dad, I don't want to be a doctor. I want to be a chef. I want to be creative and create things.
- WHAT?!?! No, your going to become a doctor just like everyone else in our family. You are smart and have jobs lined up. There is no security in being a cook. Make the smart choice here.
- Erin came from a long line of doctors. Always studious she was about to begin her journey in continuing her family legacy. Sure of her path and her expectations, Erin knows she should feel secure and happy in her decision.
- Dad was right. I just need to buckle down. Becoming a doctor makes way more sense.
- Good Morning classmates!! Here's to a great Day 2!!
- But where Erin feels most at home and happy is in the kitchen cooking. She spends her weekends taking cooking classes and trying new recipes. She had considered briefly trying to be a chef, but she did not want to disappoint her family and the idea scared her.
- I can't do this......
- Even on the first day of school Erin found her attention on cooking and food. Not her classes or what she should be learning. She was daydreaming through lectures.
- Erin, I'm so glad you decided to come study here. It's been a pleasure teaching you and I wish you nothing but the nest in all your future endeavors.
- I have loved every minute of this. Thank you for all your guidance Chef Simmons.
- The thoughts began to creep in that being a doctor isn't for her. She knew her family would be upset. Erin had no idea what the first step should be...
- It's here. In 30 minutes these doors open and I am a Chef and owner of a restaurant.

- Erin approached her dad and found that he was less than supportive and made her feel unsure of her choice. He was right right, she had a perfect life laid out in front of her but never the less she felt herself unable to shake the idea she was meant to create. She was meant tbe a chef.
- 5 years later....
- This a great restaurant, Erin. I'm so very proud of you.
- Erin knew her dad was right. She was smart, had jobs lined up, she could just continue to cook for her family. It's a hobby not a career she kept telling herself
- After months of classes Erin was finding herself more and more depressed. She just wasn't happy. So she decided to make the change that was right for her. Forget the doubt and unknown, she was going for it!!
- It took a couple years of training but Erin did it!! She was now a chef and was moving to complete her dream.
- Erin worked long hard hours to make her restaurant everything she ever dreamed of it being. The food she created, in the environment she created. She was nervous but this time she was excited, proud and confident in her path.
- It may not be the path with the known ending but it was the one where she found her purpose and happiness.
