- The West is a wonderful place for outdoor fun. Tourists and residents can enjoy the sandy beaches of California and Hawaii and the mountain skiing in Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah.
- Music is a big part of the western culture. It's no surprise that country and western music originated in this part of the country.
