- The physicist makes some calculations and fires. His shot ends up 5 feet to the left
- The biologist analyzes the deer's movement, aims and fires. His shot ends up five feet to the right of the deer
- The deer ran away
- The statistician shouts
- We got him!
- In today's society people often confuse reality for what they feel is true. Reality may not always be what you want it to be. The tactician used his logic to determine if they hit the deer and decided that they had hit the deer. Instead of using a formula, if the tactician would have looked at the deer it is crystal clear that the deer survived. From the biologist and the physicist point of view they could clearly see that they had missed the deer. Reality does not conform to what people desire there is absolute truth.
