- Hubris- Frankenstein becomes so interested in natural philosophy, and was so confident that he came up with an idea. He was going to create a human body with parts from the grave. - Hamartia- Frankenstein created his monster, and he has now come to life. This fatal mistake will change his life forever. " For this I had deprived myself of rest and heath. I had desired it was an ardor that far exceeded moderation; but now that I had finished, the beauty of the dream vanished, and breathless horror and disgust filled my heart"(47).

- anagnorisis- At this moment Victor sees the monster and realizes how bad he had messed up creating the monster. He killed William, his little brother, and was the cause of Justines death.
