- External conflict: Man VS. Society 
- "Which way ran he that killed Mercutio? Tybalt, that murderer, which way he ran?" 
- Internal conflict: Man VS. Self 
- "I'll send to one in Mantua, where that same banished runagate doth live, shall give him such an unaccustomed dram."
- External conflict: Man VS. Man
- "Ancient damnation! O must wicked fiend! is it more sin to wish me thus forsworn, or to dispraise my lord with that same tongue" 
- The reason this is Man VS. Society is because, Tybalt were fighting which is illegal in Verona and Tybalt kills Mercutio. This cause for both families to fight and other people from the village which causes a big fuss for the king, causing many death.   
- The reason this is Man VS. Self is because, Romeo is being vanished by the king which get's him into a deep sad feeling, because this causes for Rome and Juliet to be separate right after they just got married.   
- The reason this is Man VS. Man is because, Juliet feels betrayed by the nurse when the nurse agrees with her parents. Causing both Juliet and the Nurse to clash heads towards the situation.
