- As I work in everything including physics, chemistry and biology, looking and working through a microscope was a breeze! While looking at a cork through a microscope I saw small chambers that reminded me of cells that monks use which is where I created the name the Cell.
- My name is Matthias Schleiden and I love to look at plants. One day while walking through my garden I realized every plant I have looked at has cells!
- My name is Theodore Schwann and I love to study and research about animals by using microscope. One day while looking through my animals I realized all animals have cells! I then realized I needed to share my discovery so then I got in touch with Schleiden.
- We loved it!
- And after some ups and downs between Schleiden and Schwann the cell theory was made! So class that was the history behind cells and how it was discovered, what do we think?
