  • Rain in Oklahoma
  • It rains in two countries of Oklahoma. Their corns start to grow.
  • No Rain, Dryness effecting crops
  • It's May now. The rain hasn't arrived for the last few weeks. My crops, leaves, weeds and corns are getting drier and drier now.
  • AW!! The sand and dust rising from the ground went in my eye! Nowadays, dust is rising from every movement, everywhere, everytime. My Eyes!
  • Yes! I think the rain is about to come! Look at the heavy rain clouds! I hope rain definitely comes.
  • People being Hopeful
  • Quote from the text: "The last rain lifted the corns quickly...", "began to disappear in the green cover." The main event occurring here is that the countries in Oklahoma receive rain and the crops start to grow covering the land green. The camera would be zoomed out because it is describing both countries. The foreground is being focused on the growth of corns and the background is rain from the skies.

  • People came out of their homes and the kids were not shouting, running or happy like after a rain. Everyone was sad and they saw ruined corn and there was just little green on the land. People were silent. Women came to stand beside their men to feel if they would break. Children stood nearby and drew figures on the sand with their toes while peeking to others if they break.
