The Adventure of Iceman

- One day, the superhero, Iceman, went to an art museum to look at the art. When he was appreciating a painting of a flower, the superviallain, Stealth, stole a very famous painting, The Precious Mess.
- Stealth jumps out of a balcony with the painting, but Iceman spots him do so. Iceman decides that he needs to use his ice power to reach Stealth. Iceman knows that the top of the balcony is 10 feet above the ground and that the angle created from the ground below him, the top of the balcony, and the ground behind Stealth is 57°, so Iceman does cos(57°)= 10/x. After finding out that the answer was about 18.36 feet, he created an ice slide to reach Stealth.

- After Iceman gets off of the balcony, Stealth runs away and jumps from one side of a river to the other. Iceman needs to create a walkway so he could get to the other side of the river. He knows that the tree on the other side of the river is 18 feet tall and the angle created from the bottom of the tree, his feet, and the top of the tree is 75°. In order to find out how long the ice pathway he needs to create should be, Iceman does tan(75°)=18/x and figures out that the pathway should be 4.82 feet.

- Stealth gets on top of a building with the painting after escaping from Iceman at the river. Iceman catches up with Stealth and needs to build an ice ramp to get to Stealth. Ice man knows that the buildung is 11 feet higher than his eye level, and that he needs to build a ramp that is 15 feet. Iceman wants to figure out the angle of elevation from his eyes to the top of the building that Stealth is on, so he does sin-1(11/15) = θ, and finds out that θ is 47.17°.

- Iceman finally corners Stealth and catches him. Iceman sends Stealth to jail and puts the painting in the art museum where it belongs. After he was sure there was no other trouble in the city, he went home to watch a movie and relax.
