- The proclamation of 1763 caused some stirring among the colontists because they fought a war for this land and Britian made a proclamation or a law because they didn't want to fight with the indians after they just finshed fighting a massive war that cost them a lot of money and some just ingnored it and moved westward.

- In 1764 they raised the tax on molasses and sugar then in 1765 they put a stamp on ever paper item as well and these made colontist angry and upset.

- After the sugar and stamp act were passed the colonists had enough of the taxs they wanted someone in parliment to represent them but the refused so they started to boycott because of it and in 1766 parliment repeled the stamp act.

- The townshead acts started in 1767 and it set a tax on glass paper and other goods as well as tea and it cut down smuggling and the way the colonists reacted was to therathen anybody who sold british goods and the daughter of libertys orgnized boycotting and little did they know they would become very much more involed like the sons of liberty.

- The Boston Massacre happened March 5th 1770 protesters started to shout and throw rocks at the British soldiers and when they were doing this the soldiers panicked and shot into the crowd and killed 5 people first to fall was Crispus Attucks he was considered the first death of the american revalution.

- On december 16, 1778 the angry colontists dumped 342 creates of tea because they didn't want to pay tax on the tea and they were also upset because the british made a deal with the british east company that they could sell directly to the concloines but this put some merchents out of work and this was the last straw
