- The main characters in this story is the family. The mom is going on a business trip with her family. She has blonde hair and pale skin. The father is tagging along on the trip and he has red hair and a short beard. Both of these characters are flat.

- They were in the plane and it started to go down, they were running out of fuel. They crashed into the ocean and they quickly got out of the plane with life jackets on. They got on shore and tried to sleep for the rest of the night.
- They woke up and explored around and found a dog in the wild. They take the dog with them and look around for food. The theme of this story is family because they work as a family to find things.
- As they were exploring, they found a boat and it was not occupied. All they need to figure out is if it has fuel in it. This story is a cliff hanger. It will make the readers more interested and wonder what will happen next.
