- In the continent of Europe, the Rome empire separated due to the fall of Rome. Without the Roman empire, there was no stability and western Europe had the fend for themself. Due to that, the feudalism system was made for protection and security from invaders.

- In the Middle ages, the Christianity Religion ruled Europe. The Catholic Church was very important for European people. People had to give 1/10 of their tithe and had to follow a church hierarchy and the head of the church which is the pope. It was that important to them that the took about 200 years to build a cathedral.

- As you know in the middle ages, the Rome Empire was split into two. The first half was turned into Christanity who Constantine made the official religion of Rome. The other half continued to be the Byzantine Empire in Constantinople. In 1453 Ottoman Turks conquered the Byzantine empire whose religion was Islamic.
