- Odysseus and his men are traveling home from the Trojan war. They are met with several obstacles on their way. This is the story of the Cyclops.
- Odysseus and his men suddenly crash on an island where they find a cave, they decide to go in.
- Inside the cave, they meet a giant one-eyed monster called a cyclops. The cyclops notices them and starts to kill and eat the men in front of Odysseus. Odysseus has a plan where he starts to get the cyclops drunk so that he will pass out.
- After the cyclops is asleep, Odysseus continues his plan. Odysseus finds a large club in the cave, he then stabs it into his eye.
- The cyclops wakes up and screams the fake name that Odysseus had given him "Nohbdy". Odysseus comes up with the idea that he would strap him and his men to the bottom of the sheep in order to escape.
- The men finally make it out of the cave, but before they can leave Odysseus reveals his true name to the Cyclops. That makes it easy for the cyclops to curse him with Poseidons power.
