Texto do Storyboard

  • A silly young cricket, spent his good times (the warm, sunny months of the summer and spring seasons) singing. But he began to complain when he found that at home his cupboard was empty and winter has come.
  • La. La.. Laa... La. La La. Laaa."
  • "It's winter season. I cannot find even a crumb (a loaf of bread) on this snow-covered ground. I cannot see neither a flower nor a leaf on the tree. Oh! What will become of me?"
  • At last , by starvation and famine made bold, all dripping with wet and trembling with cold, the cricket decided to meet the hardworking ants, and beg for food and shelter. The ants were working hard during the summer to store food for the hard times of winter.
  • "I should take help from the ants in order to keep myself alive."
  • "Open the door. Please open the door ! Please give me shelter from rain and a mouthful of grain to eat. I will repay it you tomorrow. I am starving and shivering "
  • "My dear Cricket,I'm your servant and friend. But remember, we ants never borrow or lend anything. But tell me , didn't you save anything for the future when the weather was pleasant and warm."
  • The ants shut their door and out of the door turned the poor little cricket.
  • "Not I ! My heart was so light that I was singing and filling the whole earth and sky with my song."
  • " You sang, Sir, you say, eh? Well go then, try dancing now and spent the winter too...."
  • CONCLUSION: This story is not just a fable, the moral given by the story is actually a true statement. The moral is that " if we enjoy today then we will surely suffer tomorrow"as in the poem the cricket just sang day and night in the summer days whereas the ants worked all day and night. So now, in the winter the cricket is dying of hunger.
