- Yeah dude, they look sick, I don't have the money for one right now but I think I will use my credit card to pay for it and then just pay the minimum until I have enough to pay off the card.
- Dude no, that is a terrible idea, do you know how credit cards work? Every card has an interest rete, and if you do not pay off all the money you spent on that card at the end of your term, then the money you owe will be subject to interest.
- Oh crap, no dude I didn't know that, thank you for telling me, so you're saying that if you don't make payments in full every term then you will be in debt and have to pay interest? Why would someone do that?
- Yes, credit score is kind of like your reputation, it is what allows you to get bigger loans like mortgages or auto loans. Making on time payments and spending responsibly will improve your credit score. But be careful, if your credit score is bad,, then you can be rejected from credit cards, and loans.
- Some people just don't know, and others may know what they are doing and just plan to pay in full at a later time, even though they have to pay interest. But the best way to use your credit card is to make sure that whatever you are spending you are able to pay for at the end of the month. Credit cards are not free money, just a loan that is due at the end of the month.
