Texto do Storyboard

  • We made our way up to Rosie's room. The rest of the house was still dark so grandma had to use her phone light. Rosie looked like she was sleeping,.
  • My stomach churned. I kept telling myself that I was being dramatic but grandma kept calling her to wake her up and I noticed a fly on her face. That solidified the point to me and I started crying.
  • Grandma's calling got more frantic and she started crying too. We were both screaming by now. She told me to call my Mom and when I did I yelled into the phone.
  • MOM, GRANDMA ROSIE IS DEAD! SHE'S DEAD!
  • My mom and brother rushed over and the next I knew I was sitting in the living room with paramedics coming in and out with some of my family. My mom and grandma must of called them.
  • In a week we had the funeral. During the time my grandma too in my great-great uncle Daniel, Grandma Rosie's last sibling. He had diabetes and mumbled to himself all the time. I didn't even know about him until then.
  • At the funeral I couldn't stop crying. A lot of people I didn't know were there and seeing Rosie's body was weird. I didn't get out of the car for when they lowered her body. I didn't wanna see it.
  • For the next months I was paranoid and scared of something happening to anyone else in my family. If my mom was out for too long I'd keep calling her. My grandma moved into Grandma Rosie's house with Uncle Dan and whenever he went to bed I'd go into the room and check if he was at least breathing.
  • *snore*
  • That year it really sunk in that everything is fragile. You never know how long you have with someone. And even if you brace yourself for the day, you'll never be ready for anything that surprising!
  • THE END
