- I don’t have any good education here in the rural areas
- There is nothing much to do around here all we do is farm and I don’t have any friends
- I’m so happy I’m moving to Sandton I will now have a social life and be able to make friends
- Geoffrey doesn’t have any school education which decreases his opportunity for a good job when he is older
- My family is very poor and I want my sister and I to have a successful life but we’re not able to get education
- I want to become an actress
- Because Geoffrey and his family live so far from the urban areas they have to make their own food by planting and having cattle. And Geoffrey has no social life.

- Geoffrey is now able to have a social life and make friends
- I am now able to get a good education and is able to study
- Because urban areas are so far there are no job opportunities for Geoffrey and his little sister Lyla.

- Geoffrey’s dad is unable to maintain the farm any more as he is old and it is very time consuming.
- This puts the rural area in a bad position now because now authorities focus more on urban areas as they do rural areas which means that rural areas battle to receive their basic needs.
- Our area is now in such a bad state because so many people are leaving and there aren’t enough people to maintain it.
