- Efriam Duke was an acient King of Calaber. He had many wives and children He was a peaceful man that did not believe in wars. The King had a drum that brings out a feast when he bangs it; he uses this drum to invite his enemies to enjoy a feast as an effort to keep the peace and love instead of fighting. Everyone wished to have this drum.

- One day, one of the King's wives took their daughter to a spring to wash off sores that were on her daughter's body. To her surprise, a nut fell from the tree, so she picked up the nut and let her daughter eat it, not knowing it belonged to the tortoise that was gathering nuts for his family from the tree.

- The tortoise made the wife feel bad as he told her that he was a poor tortoise that struggles to get his family food and that he was going to tell everyone including the king.
