Texto do Storyboard

  • Exposition
  • But I have received a pipe of what passes for Amontillado, and I have my doubts.
  • In the middle of a carnival?! Impossible!
  • Inciting Incident
  • How long have you had that cough?!
  • *Cough**Cough*
  • Rising Action
  • True, the Amontillado.
  • The Amontillado!
  • One evening during a carnival, Montresor runs into an intoxicated Fortunato and tells him that he has received a pipe for Amontillado, and that he was “afraid” after he had paid the price for it without involving him. This is step 1 in Montresor’s plan of killing Fortunato.
  • Climax
  • For the love of God, Montresor!
  • Afterwards, they head into the vaults of Montresor’s palazzo to obtain this “pipe,” where Fortunato is known to cough a lot throughout this scene.
  • Falling Action
  • Fortunato! Fortunato!
  • After a short amount of time, Montresor is easily able to chain up Fortunato due to being even more intoxicated than before. From here, Montresor starts building up a wall around Fortunato in hopes of him dying slowly from there.
  • Resolution
  • The End!
  • *Cough**Cough*
  • After Montresor gets done building the wall, he stands around and starts to tease Fortunato, where Fortunato yelled out his very final words.
  • Yes, for the love of God!
  • After receiving no other responses after shouting his name numerous times, Montresor threw a torch inside the wall to ensure Fortunato’s death. He afterwards suspiciously claimed that his heart began to grow sick due to the dampness of the catacombs.
  • Montresor claimed that he was “hastened” to end his plan. He placed the last piece of stone onto the wall and rebuilt the rampart of bones, and presumably fled his palazzo. He afterwards stated that a human hasn’t “disturbed” them for 50 years, and payed a tribute to the dead people’s bones by saying “Rest in Peace.”
