- Odysseus is trying to kill the last suitors of Penelope. He doesn't want them anymore because he is finally back home after 20 years after leaving for the Trojan War. The 108 suitors have come to Penelopes' palace to be picked as king of Ithica after they thought Odysseus had died. Odysseus has killed 106 of the 108 suitors and these are the final to he needs to kill to become the sole king of Ithica once again.#160;
- Odysseus knew from the knowledge that Hermes gave him that Circe was a woman who was lonely and wanted a husband. As soon as Odysseus walked in Circe already wanted to have food with him. Odysseus was a smart man who followed and did what Hermes told him to do (eat a certain type of plant) and he would not get turned into a pig like every other man who stepped foot on the island. Circe was a smart women and knew Odysseus would not fall for her tricks and she loved that. Odysseus got caught up in her love and stayed for a year.
- The Sirens learned that Odysseus and his men were driving by their island and started singing. Odysseus had some help from the previous island he was at and they told him he needed to stay roped to something on the boat or the singing would be so beautiful that he would have to go see whats going on and then forget everything. Odysseus made his men tie him to the ship and make sure to not let them out or they would regret it. Odysseus men did what was asked and got through the Sirens singing and made their way home to Ithaca
