  • ACT 1: EXPOSITION
  • ACT 1: CONFLICT
  • ACT 2: RISING ACTION
  • In a dystopian America, the country has been fractioned into 12 Districts and the Dictatorial Capital leading them. Every Year the districts are punished for their previous uprising and 2 children from each district are forced to have a televised battle Royal. We open in District 12 with our protagonist 16 year old, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Malark volunteering/chosen to be in the games.
  • ACT 3: CLIMAX
  • Katniss and Peeta are taken to the capital and see their competition. There can only be one survivor. Peeta profess his love for Katniss to gain sympath of the viewers or is it true?
  • ACT 4: FALLING ACTION
  • Katniss, Peeta and the other competitors are thrown in the game. Many kids are unalived. Katniss is pushed into danger by fire into the path of a group of competitors. She escapes with the help of a competor named Rue. They team up in the hopes of starving the vicious group. In the process Rue is unalived.
  • ACT 5: DENOUEMENT
  • The gamemakers announce that 2 competitors can win if they are from the same district, so Katniss finds an injured Peeta and nurses him back to health. They unalive another competitor by accident when she eats berries Peeta was collection. There is only one other competitor alive at that point. The game keepers push them altogether by wild dogs.
  • Peeta pushes the competitor into the wild dogs and Katniss unalives him. Then the game maker announces only one may live. So, they both go for the poison berries but the gamemaker stops them and they both win.
  • They may have won but the Capitol was not happy. Katniss now relies she may have to pretend to love Peeta the rest of her life if she wants to live.
