- Odysseus is sailing and comes across the shoreline of the Lotus Eaters.
- The Sirens
- Odysseus sails to the land of Cyclopes and 6 men get eaten by one but Odysseus escapes successfully.
- Scylla/Charybdis
- Odysseus sails to Aeolia and meets Aeolus, who gives him a sack of winds, which gets him cast out because he let a storm loose. Odysseus then finds a cannibalistic race that destroys almost all of his ships.
- Cattle of the sun god
- Odysseus has received a revelation from Circe that they would pass by the sirens, and alone would listen to them and that his crew should tie them up. They pass by with no problem due to his crew putting beeswax in their ears, losing to no crew.
- Odysseus tries to defeat the Scylla and tries to get away from Charybdis. During this encounter he loses 6 of his best men to Scylla. Scylla then gets distracted which leads to the escape of Odysseus and the rest of his men.
- Odysseus woke up to find that the men had broken their oaths and killed some cattle, he then meets Helios which convinces Odysseus to kill all the cattle. Odysseus loses 6 men. Odysseus manages to move on by swimming to Calypso’s island.
