- In the year 610, Muhammad was meditating in a cave of a mountain when he was visited by the Angel Jibreel.

- Muhammed began to preach what God had told him. But his belief in only one God threatened the political leaders of Mecca. He had to leave for Medina in 622 because he was threatened by the leaders of Mecca

- After 10 years, Muhammad returned and conquered Mecca. He was finally accepted as the true final Prophet of God.
- During his life, Muhammad heard many revelations from God. The words were remembered and recorded. They formed the Holy Qur'an, The Muslim Scripture.
