- King Acrisio of Argos was a very selfish man. One day he went to the oracles' and they told them that his grandson will kill him. King Ascrisio didn't like that, so he built an underground room for his daughter, Danae, so she couldn't go anywhere and pregnant. Zeus felt bad for Danane because she was looked away in a room so he made himself look like gold and snuck into her room Once he was there, he showed himself, fell in love and had a baby. Dane named the child Perseus. When King Acrisio saw Perseus, he wanted to kill both of them. THe King put both of them in a chest and threw them into the water, hoping they would die but they washed up on shore, on an island. Dictys, the brother of King Polydectes found the chest and brought them in the palace. Danae was made a servant and after many years, Perseus became a young man.
- After many years of Danae and Perseus being in the palace, Polydectes in love with Danae. He thought that if he gets rid of Perseus, he could forcefully marry Danae. He made an excuse that Perseus got him nothing after saving both of their lives. He told Perseus to get the Gorgon's head.
- Perseus prayed to Athena, the goddess of wisdom to help him get resources along the way. She said that he first needs to go to sister Phorcides to lead him to the nymphs, who gard the hat of darkness which makes you invisible. They also hold the winged sandals that make you fly and the bag that will hold Medusa's head. Athena said that that she will give him a shield and her brother, Hermes will give him a sword which is the only thing that could kill Medusa.
- Perseus went to go find the three Gray Sisters. Athena told him that they live in a dark cavern far north. They had one eye and one tooth between them.
- Perseus traveled north and found the three Gray Sisters. Perseus took their one eye that they share with each other. He said that he will give it back if they told him where the nymph are. Once they told him where the nymphs are, he threw the eye back to them and ran as quickly as he can.
- Perseus went to find the nymphs in their garden where there is always sunshine and trees that grow golden apples. The nymphs hate the monsters of darkness so they helped Perseus put all the equipment that he needed on. He put on the hat of darkness, the golden winged sandals, tassels of gold, and a shield that was like a mirror. Perseus went to go fight Medusa.
