- The Estates Genera; took place in Versailles on May 5, 1789.King Louis XVI was confronted by the commoners about the tax burden.The commoners were unsuccessful in reaching an agreement. This was the beginning of the French Revolution.This event also lead to a rage by the commoners.

- On June 20th, 1789. The 3rd estate commoners had a meeting. A meeting to establish a new constitution. The vote was "not to separate and to reassemble wherever necessary until the constitution of the kingdom is established." The weren't going to end the meeting til a new constitution was formed.

- The storming of the Bastille took place on July 14,1789.This violent attack on the government by the people of France signaled the start of the French Revolution.The attack of the Bastille might have been the beginning.But it just as hard and difficult to go through.
