- Do my eyes deceive me? Is this dagger real or am I hallucinating?

- I'm freaking out! I know I must kill King Duncan but I 'm not sure I can!

- DING!
- Macbeth isn't sure whether the dagger before him is real or not as his mind is so confused that the line between real and imaginary is becoming blurred.
- It is now time! Once he has killed Duncan, Macbeth will be king and fulfil the prophecy!

- DONG!
- He knows what he has to do to fulfill the witches' prophecy and satisfy his wife, and the dagger is leading him the direction he must go. More blood from the dagger appears and Macbeth becomes more anguished.
- Oh my, I think someone swapped my boots for concrete! I'm sure the noise is reverberating through the castle.
- Evil nightmares plague the people while they sleep, and witches make sacrifices to their goddess Hecate.
- Sorry old chap, no hard feelings, but it's my time to be KING! Where will you be heading now ? Heaven or hell?

- Lady Macbeth rings the bell as a signal that the castle occupants are all asleep and Macbeth is clear to go and kill King Duncan.
- Macbeth continues to walk towards his destination, moving as quietly as a ghost with the dagger still leading him. He steps cautiously, hoping the floor doesn't creak and wake the sleeping occupants.
- Macbeth enters King Duncan's room. He knows that once the deed is done, he will inherit the throne and become king. The dagger is in his hand ...
