- Caption: Juliet and Romeo have a conversation about Newton and his scientific discoverments and then Juliet asks how velocity and motion relate to the apple?
- Yeah. He really knew what he was talking about.
- This Newton guy sounds really cool. All of this acceleration and deceleration.
- So what is velocity and speed and what does it have to do with the apple?
- Yes! Speed = Distance/Time or velocity if you were to add the direction it is heading in!
- Velocity and speed are essentially the same thing, in which occurs when motion occurs. However velocity has direction attached it to it. An example would be 50 MPH WEST.
- Oh wow! That's cool! So if I were to throw anything I could calculate velocity and acceleration?
- Caption: Romeo explains velocity and speed and gives an example. Moreover a formula is given to calculate speed.
- Oh look the apple stopped moving! What do you think would happen if I we're to kick it?
- Caption: Romeo asks to Juliet what she think if he kicked the apple. Juliet responds.
- Hmm. I don't know, maybe it will get thrown across the yard?
