- Summary 3: This scene shows the neighbors between the wall. The neighbor has apple trees in his yard. But the author has pine trees in his home.
- Summary 4: The scene is showing the neighbors and their trees. The neighbor's apple trees never got across to go for the cones from the pine trees. He wanted to tell the author, but all he says is "Good fences make good neighbors."
- Summary 5: Another scene shows the two neighbors. The author wanted to ask what he was walling in or out. He was not sure if he was doing those things.
