The History of Earth

Precambrian Era (4.6 billion - 570 million years ago)

Paleozoic Era (570 - 225 million years ago)

Mesozoic Era (190 - 65 million years ago)

Cenozoic Era (2 million - present day)

The Hadean Eon was when the Earth was formed. It happened when multiple planets had a huge collision which created the Earth.

By: Taj Dababish

This is also known as the Hadean Eon. The surface was molten and uninhabitable. This was also when the first single-celled bacteria was created from complex chemical reactions.

The Earth cools over millions of years and Rodinia is the first supercontinent to form. Carbonaceous Chondrite (meteor) impacts bring water to Earth. Over time, the surface is covered with ocean water.

Terrestrial life is dominant on Earth and Pangea has formed. This is the called the “Age of Dinosaurs”Diverse plant life and ocean organisms which then leads to the first mammals.

This is known as the “Age of Mammals”. Mammals survive during the ice age with warm-blooded bodies and continue growing in size. Human evolution begins and they are hunter-gathering nomadic tribes. Homosapeians outcompete neanderthals.
