- The soft golden sand scorched my feet as I sprinted determinedly to the water. The baking sun burned brightly in the cloudless sky. Crabs scuttled around, tirelessly digging sand-burrows. I need to get to that water as quickly as possible, I proclaimed.

- The shimmering sapphire of the water was irresistible in the unbearable heat. The water tasted of salt but helped clean my scraped knee. Ahhh that's better, I sighed contentedly.The peaceful silence was interrupted only by tropical birds swooping and splashing to catch their next meal.Whilst paddling around in the warm, shallow waves, I gazed back to the shore.

- I looked inquisitively a the palm tree forest. In the dead of night, the tall, imposing palm trees had been intimidating. I had been too anxious and cautious to explore the thick, endless forest with it's inexplicable noises, shadows and movements.Now, in the day time it didn't seem so bad. And my hungry stomach knew there would be food in there. Hmm, what might there be? I questioned aloud.At that very same moment I noticed a mischievous-looking, quick, brown monkey dart up a trees. He threw a coconut out of the tree and then a banana too. He looked straight at me, pointed then screeched an encouraging sound.Wow! I exclaimed. I think he's trying to help me, I concluded joyfully.
