- Me and my father Daedalus were on a boat to Hawaii. But suddenly the boat was hijacked and taken to an island called Crete.
- Climax
- We were kept as prisoners under King Minos's rule. He wouldn't let us free, we even tried to bribe him but nothing worked.
- Falling Action
- Me and my father were let outside to get some air and sun. We came up with the idea to create wings. So while my father was doing a blueprint of the wings I was collecting the materials we would need. We finally finished our wings and started to test them to make sure they worked. They did! Me and my father were so happy and excited. But they told us our time was up outside.
- Resolution
- Icaria
- So they put us back inside. But before we went inside we hid our wings where no one would find them. We were inside for a while but they let us out again. Me and my father grabbed our wings and took off. We were celebrating in the air because we were escaping and no one was stopping us.
- While me and my father were in the air I decided to fly higher and higher and closer to the sun. (Note: Don't ever fly too close to the sun it won't end up well.) But then I realized my feathers were falling off, then my wax was melting. I began to fall and yelled father.
- Papa, please help me!
- I didn't make it in time to help/catch Icarus. He fell to quickly and fell into the water. I went down to the water to find out he was dead. I carried his body to shore and buried him on a piece of land. Then, I named the land, " Icaria" after his name. I will dearly miss him.
