- Yes, nothing much. She told me who she was.
- Please forgive me.
- Are you Liza?
- Yes
- Father why?
- Liza is helping her aunt cook Sinigang while her aunt, Tita Loleng, inquires about the events surrounding her half-brother Lem's funeral.
- I am glad you came.
- .....
- Liza met Sylvia, her father's mistress and the mother of Lem. Sylvia was not able to suppress her emotions and begged Liza for forgiveness.
- At the funeral...
- Would he do the same if I were the one who died?
- It was difficult for Liza to acknowledge the fact that her father had another woman’s child.
- She also remembered when her father was glad that she came to Lem’s funeral but he regarded her as a 'Sinverguenza', or shameless daughter.
- When her father expressed his regrets, Liza decided to forgive him. She recalled her father crying at Lem's funeral and thought about whether he would do the same if it were her who had passed away.
