- just outside of the well-known place called Camelot, laid a small island shalott.
- 'a curse would fall upon her if she looks down to Camelot.' so the lady of Shalott stayed in the tower, weaving her tapestry and looking at the world through her mirror. but one day...
- she sees a figure riding from afar towards Shalott, a knight on his horse in her mirror.

- mesmerized by his beauty, she fell In love with Sir Lancelot and looks down at Camelot. suddenly her magic mirror broke and she realized that the curse has come upon her.
- she decides that she would rather die happily from the curse, than stay alive in sadness. she goes down the stairs, outside her tower.
- as she goes down, she sees the weather change. from a bright and sunny day, it had become cloudy and rainy. she goes to the boat and carves her name on it
